So I decided to try something new while I was in New York. I've seen people do many a coloured liner on Instagram using liquid lipsticks so I thought why not!

Arlene Villarule Eye-shadow Review & Swatch

A little background,

"Arlene Villarule is a local MUA in Trinidad & Tobago who has her own makeup line. She has been and worked internationally and has been trained under the Giorgio Armani line of cosmetics. For more info on her and her background and particulars, click HERE!"

As you can see, the packaging is a very simple black housing for a single eye-shadow. The housing snaps shut at the front and the cover is a black sticker with her name and logo in white font. The  shadow inside is removable.

[Fortnight Challenge #1] Mac n' Taupe Bronze

Hey guys!

A little background,

"I decided to challenge myself to doing 2 weeks worth of makeup, essentially challenging myself to do makeup I usually wouldn't; thus, coming out of my comfort zone and experimenting. And I intended to film all of it. Mind you, I don't wear makeup everyday so only the days I wore any significant amount of makeup is when I filmed. Thus the reason it took a while to complete."

A little background,

"I was contacted on April 28th 2014 on Twitter by someone on CO+K saying they'd love to feature me on their site as a beauty superstar. After verifying that it wasn't spam I gladly obliged! I was informed that it would be a week long feature, a different makeup look for each day for 7 days. An interview questionnaire was also sent to me while we conversed over emails. Cat was very friendly and helpful during this time as well. My first feature goes/went live as of July 7th 2014, a link to the site is posted below."
