I have been so excited to share this look with everyone I can't even. This is by far one of my favourite looks I've ever done, as it's so out of my comfort zone!

A little background,

"Cat Morley from CU+K (Cut Out & Keep) contacted me and asked if I'd be interested in participating a new feature that they'd be launching on the site. The name of the feature is called 'Craft Test', whereby I receive a (couple) product(s) from a company. [Fortnight Challenge #1] Alien Bindhi

A little background,

"I decided to challenge myself to doing 2 weeks worth of makeup, essentially challenging myself to do makeup I usually wouldn't; thus, coming out of my comfort zone and experimenting. And I intended to film all of it. Mind you, I don't wear makeup everyday so only the days I wore any significant amount of makeup is when I filmed. Thus the reason it took a while to complete."

"I decided to challenge myself to doing 2 weeks worth of makeup, essentially challenging myself to do makeup I usually wouldn't; thus, coming out of my comfort zone and experimenting. And I intended to film all of it. Mind you, I don't wear makeup everyday so only the days I wore any significant amount of makeup is when I filmed. Thus the reason it took a while to complete."

This look was inspired by a face chart done by ValerieVixenArt on Instagram. I initially saw Linda Hallberg's and DepecheGurl's recreation of it back to back and then I saw Valerie's face chart. I wanted to do a recreation but changed by mind and did an inspired look, swapping out the colours and putting my own spin on it. I do hope you enjoy! Inspiration pics after the video link.

Drag Attempts #1, #2 & #3

Hey again guys! Hope you're all well wherever you are and thanks again for checking into my blog!

I thought I'd share the progress of my attempts at drag makeup with you all. I've only made a tutorial for one of these looks so I can't state the products used for all. I'll post the direct link to the tutorial for your viewing pleasure!

Attempt #1:
This was inspired by Namaisa Hunswijk, an MUA and YouTube Beauty Guru from the Netherlands. I switched out the colours to tailor it to myself but I didn't really like the "pristine-ness" of it!

A little background,

"I was contacted on April 28th 2014 on Twitter by someone on CO+K saying they'd love to feature me on their site as a beauty superstar. After verifying that it wasn't spam I gladly obliged! I was informed that it would be a week long feature, a different makeup look for each day for 7 days. An interview questionnaire was also sent to me while we conversed over emails. Cat was very friendly and helpful during this time as well. My first feature goes/went live as of July 7th 2014, a link to the site is posted below."

Tutorial: Pacifique

Hi guys, coming to you with a very simple step tutorial that was inspired by Hanna Majava and Dixie Wolff on Instagram. I absolutely love their work and I'd never tried anything like it before (.. surprisingly). 

In my attempt to challenge myself, this is the look I created:

 For my first attempt at this sort of look, I personally quite like the outcome.
