`*~ Dusty Cranberries ~*`

Hello again! Here to post another feature of mine from cutoutandkeep.net.

A little background,
"I was contacted on April 28th 2014 on Twitter by someone on CO+K saying they'd love to feature me on their site as a beauty superstar. After verifying that it wasn't spam I gladly obliged! I was informed that it would be a week long feature, a different makeup look for each day for 7 days. An interview questionnaire was also sent to me while we conversed over emails. Cat was very friendly and helpful during this time as well. My first feature goes/went live as of July 7th 2014, a link to the site is posted below."

This is the look we'll be creating today:

What you'll need:

  1. Eye shadow Primer
  2. Light/Cranberry coloured Eye shadow Base
  3. Vanilla Eye shadow
  4. Reddish-brown Eye shadow
  5. Cranberry coloured Eye shadow
  6. Deep Plum-brown Eye shadow
  7. Pearlescent Gold Eye shadow
  8. Medium Bright Purple Eye shadow
  9. Black/Plum Liquid and/or Pencil Liner
  10. Mascara

Let's get started shall we!

Step 1:
Begin by applying your primer and base to the lid. Add vanilla eye shadow to the brow bone and blend lightly toward the crease. Blend reddish-brown eye shadow onto the crease area as shown; this will be your transition shade.

Step 2:
Apply and blend the deep plum-brown eye shadow onto the outer half of the crease.

Step 3:
Apply cranberry coloured eye shadow onto the lid where there isn't any product yet. Blend well where all colours meet. Go back in with the plum-brown shade and blend into the cranberry shadow on the outer third of the lid and into the crease again. Blend well.

Step 4:
Apply black or plum pencil liner to the lower lash line and smudge with a brush or finger. Apply a medium purple colour over top of the liner and blend using the same reddish-brown from the crease. Apply a pearlescent gold eye shadow to the tear duct area and blend well into other shadows. Apply black/plum liquid liner to the top lash line (wing is optional) and black/plum pencil liner to the lower waterline.

Step 5:
Apply black mascara to top and bottom lashes and VOILA!!!
