`*~ Emerald Arabic ~*`

Hello again! Here to post another feature of mine from cutoutandkeep.net.

A little background,
"I was contacted on April 28th 2014 on Twitter by someone on CO+K saying they'd love to feature me on their site as a beauty superstar. After verifying that it wasn't spam I gladly obliged! I was informed that it would be a week long feature, a different makeup look for each day for 7 days. An interview questionnaire was also sent to me while we conversed over emails. Cat was very friendly and helpful during this time as well. My first feature goes/went live as of July 7th 2014, a link to the site is posted below."

This is the look we'll be creating today:

What you'll need:

  1. Eye shadow Primer
  2. Eye shadow Base
  3. Reddish-brown  Eye shadow (matte)
  4. Forest Green Pencil Liner
  5. Forest Green Shadow (matte)
  6. Medium Green Eye shadow (satin)
  7. Medium Seafoam Green Eye shadow (metallic/shimmer)
  8. Medium Olive Green Eye shadow (matte)
  9. Vanilla Eye shadow
  10. Light, Frosty Mint Eye shadow
  11. Copper/Bronze/Gold Pencil/Gel Liner
  12. Black Liquid/Gel Liner
  13. Mascara (Lashes optional)

Let's get started shall we!

Step 1:
Apply your eye shadow primer and base to your eyelid. Apply vanilla eye shadow along your brow bone to highlight and blend lightly toward the crease. Apply a reddish-brown eye shadow onto your crease and blend well into highlight shade.

Step 2:
Apply a forest green pencil liner to the outer third of the lid and blend lightly with a brush/finger as shown.

Step 3:
Apply a deep forest green eye shadow over top of the outer third of the eye only and blend the edges. Apply a medium green satin eye shadow directly next to the forest green shadow on the center of the lid and blend where the shadows meet.

Step 4:
Apply the medium seafoam green onto the inner third of the lid and blend well where all shadows meet. Apply the medium olive eye shadow lightly into the crease over the edges of the deep forest green to get a better blend and add an extra pop of green to the look.

Step 5:
Apply forest green pencil liner to the lower lash line and smudge with a brush/finger. Apply forest green eye shadow over top the green liner and blend the edges until a hazy, smokey effect if accomplished. Add the frosty mint eye shadow to the inner corner/tear duct are of the eye. Apply thick winged liner to the top and bottom lash line as shown; only carrying the black liner onto the waterline at the very inner and outer corners of the eyes and connecting it to the top liner. In the empty space left in the middle lower waterline, add your copper/bronze/gold liner.

Step 6:
Apply mascara to top and bottom lashes. Touch up anything you feel you may need to and apply false lashes if you so wish. VOILA!
